The Cochrane Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) group are starting work on a set of systematic reviews which will cover three balance disorders:
- Menières disease/syndrome
- Vestibular migraine
- Persistent Postural-Perceptual Dizziness (PPPD)
We are seeking input from people with some experience of these conditions – including patients, their family members, carers, or other people with an interest in these disorders, to help us determine how to develop the reviews.
We have a short survey (approximately 10-15 minutes in total) to help us to identify:
- Which outcomes are important - what things should be measured to assess whether a condition is improving with treatment?
- What interventions are important - which treatments or other therapy/activities (such as lifestyle changes) should be considered in the reviews?
The survey will remain open until Tuesday 15th June, and the link is here:
We are very grateful for your participation, which will help us to plan the reviews and ensure that they cover the topics and outcomes of most importance.
