Cochrane ENT training day at INTEGRATE 2017
In January 2017 Cochrane ENT's editorial team were delighted to provide a training day on systematic reviewing to delegates on the INTEGRATE Research Competencies and Development Course for ENT trainees in Birmingham, UK. Working through a real-world clinical scenario (paediatric sleep-disordered breathing), we introduced the delegates to the full systematic review process, from honing the clinical question with a well-designed PICO (Participants, Intervention(s), Comparison(s), Outcomes) to interpreting and presenting the evidence using GRADE. Thanks to everyone involved for such a lively, interactive session.
New Associate Editors
In December 2016 we were delighted to welcome two new Associate Editors to our editorial panel: Dr. Melissa Pynnonen from the Department of Otolaryngology, University of Michigan, USA and Dr Kornkiat Snidvongs from Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. Both are experienced Cochrane ENT authors and will bring their systematic review skills to our team, in addition to their clinical expertise. We are looking forward to working with them.
